Blued cutters provide superior corrosion resistance and improved strength. Offset ramp-shaped depth gauges reduce roughness and helps prevent cutter from diving into the sidewall of the cut. 72JPX is a skip sequence chain and features "X" grind – an enhanced grind geometry that significantly improves out-of-box sharpness with substantial speed improvement in boring and bias (undercut) modes.
