The Petzl ASAP’SORBER is a compact energy absorber engineered for work-at-height applications, designed to connect an ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester to a harness. Available in two lengths (20 cm for minimizing fall distance and 40 cm for maximizing workspace), it allows technicians to work at a distance from the lifeline to prevent rope damage during active work phases. Featuring progressive tear-webbing enclosed in a durable zippered fabric pouch, it effectively absorbs impact forces in a fall for single users up to 140 kg. The protective pouch shields the internal webbing from abrasion and contaminants while allowing quick opening for routine safety inspections or replacement if worn.
